Your Nokia 1101 may be a powerful tool for getting connected, but it also contains many practical tools to make your days a bit easier.

See the brief instructions on using the flashlight, alarm clock and reminders. The Extras menu has also these easy-to-use features:

Calculator
Stopwatch
Countdown timer

Please note that your phone must be switched on to use these functions. Do not switch on the phone when wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger.


		Can I use the calculator for currency conversions?				The is blinking on my display in standby mode. What does it mean?




		Yes, you can. To save the exchange rate: Press Options, select Exchange rate, select Foreign unit expressed in domestic units or Domestic unit expressed in foreign units, key in the value (press for a decimal point), and press OK. To make the conversion: key in the currency amount to be converted, press Options, and select In domestic or In foreign.				It means that your stopwatch is running in the background. This is something you should avoid, as using the stopwatch consumes the battery and the phone's operating time will be reduced.
